TWJ Foundation – The Social Reforms was started on 3rd January 2021 by Sameer Narvekar and Neha Narvekar as a part of TWJ Foundation’s social reform vision. The first branch of the organization was established in the Chiplun, Ratnagiri district. To bring holistic reforms in the community, The Social Reforms has set on a journey to join hands with the community, like-minded organizations, government, quasi-government bodies, policymakers and the society at large. Even though in its nascent stage, TWJ Foundation have, through more than 240 interventions, impacted over 48,000 people. These initiatives cover various areas like gramvikas, agriculture, education, art and culture and community outreach programs to name a few among many.
In the coming years, TWJ Foundation envisions broadening its social footprint across the state of Maharashtra with the help of volunteers and community support. This engine of reform is currently driven by a humane team who forms the backbone of the organization.
Prasanna Karandikar, Mahan Korgaonkar, Dr. Shraddha Jadhav, and Saurabh Bhujbal make up the core team for TWJ Foundation.
